FAQ (frequently asked questions)
About the school regulation
It is certainly a good idea (perhaps we should say it is a duty) to set aside
half and hour to read the entire school
regulation. (not entirely available in English translation)
However often we need to find the exact answer to a specific question.
A student, for example may have some doubts about such matters as:
- if it cannot be avoided, what
time do I have to be in class?
- but? I am just ever
so slightly late! or
else?
- what if public transport times are such that I reach school when it is still dark and I
get home after sun set: what
can I do?
- is my word not enough to justify
my absence?
- justification ?! What if I'm
over eighteen?
- d you also want a doctor's
certificate?
- justification?! even if I've taken partin a strike?
- if the students are on strike but I've decided not to partiipate: surely
the teacher won't want to have a lesson?
- there is a test?! No no, now I remember: on that day I absolutely shouldn't leave
early...
- you
not going to tell my parents that I didn't come to school, are you?
- and what if I use
that exit, where nobody ever goes out?
- teacher, may
I go out?
- teacher, Sara, Giorgia, Federica and I have to go uot to make A photocopy: may
we?
- where will we go this time between
one lesson and the next?
- I'll go to see Beppe, since the
teacher has gone out for a moment...
- who cares?...anyway, isn't there someone
who does the cleaning?
- what if we
organise a nice aerobics course at school?
- lets
have an assembly?
- and who
is going to pay for the damage?
